Note: Registration is limited to California-practicing attorneys and sitting or retired members of the judiciary; guests may only attend when registered with an eligible primary registrant, and individuals in vendor roles may attend only as confirmed sponsors.

General Information
What is Included for Attendees and Registered Guests?
Please note that all educational programming, including presentations and MCLE sessions, is reserved exclusively for fully registered conference attendees. Registered guests—those who have paid the guest registration fee—are welcome to attend designated social events but are not invited to participate in the Friday lunch program or any other official programming components of the conference. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

- Registered children may attend all breakfasts and dinners. Childcare will not be provided.
Ala carte tickets are not available.
Dress Code
All seminar sessions are casual. Shorts, golf and t-shirts are welcome. Hawaiian shirts and tropical attire are encouraged. Receptions and dinners are Resort Casual (no jackets or ties).
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Seminar registration fees are refundable prior to Wednesday, September 8, 2027, less a non‑refundable $175 processing fee for each cancellation submission. Cancellations must be received in writing (by email to annualseminar@abtl.org) no later than 5:00 p.m. on September 8, 2027. The processing fee applies to any cancellation submission, including partial cancellations such as removing a spouse, partner, or children from a registration. If multiple cancellation submissions are made at different times, the $175 processing fee will apply to each submission. If a registrant cancels their own registration together with a spouse, partner, or children in a single submission, one total processing fee of $175 applies.
After September 8, 2027, no refunds will be issued for any portion of a registration, including spouse, partner, or children. Registrants may transfer their own registration, as well as spouse, partner, or children registrations, to replacement attendees after the deadline; however, the registrant is responsible for securing the replacement attendee(s).
Hotel Accommodations
All accommodations are at the Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island of Hawaii. The ABTL has obtained a discounted rates as set forth below with no resort fee (originally $48) and complimentary self parking (valued at $40/night). Valet parking is available for $60+tx/day.

Hotel Reservations (at the ABTL rate) can only be made after registering for the conference. Each ABTL member is responsible for booking and/or cancelling his/her own hotel. Hotel information (including a phone number and direct link for reservations) will be provided to you by email after registering for the conference. Please allow twenty-four (24) hours for the information. Space permitting, the hotel will only honor the discounted rates for reservations made before September 12, 2027. Note – the hotel will charge 100% of room charge for reservations cancelled (or shortened) within 10 days prior to arrival.
